Discovering The Magic Within.
Everything is an illusion in the waking state. When you sleep you are immersed in a dream. You believe only in the dream and you believe it is true. How long will this dream last! This will last till you wake up and ignore the dream. But which is true, the dream or the waking state? This is a day-dream and that is a night dream. So both are dreams…The you who was present as pure consciousness in both the dream state and in the waking state, that you who witnessed both these states, is the true reality. Life during the daytime is a daydream; during the night it is a night-dream. They are both illusions. They are filled with defects and flaws because they constantly change from one thing to another; so they cannot be real. Only you—who remained unchanged in all these states are real, free of all change and illusion. —SSSB
All physical life on this plain is but an illusion—a dream. It is as much a deception as the mirage of water a thirsty person sees as he crawls across a hot desert under the blazing sun. This is why, even on one’s death bed with the final breath, one peers beyond for the truth that is instinctively known to be real. It is the same truth that gives the strength or indomitable spirit to extend oneself beyond the norm, particularly in times of crisis. This is what is termed being born again; the realization that there is a greater truth or level of understanding waiting to be fully comprehended. The adventure lies in the fact that the more one fathoms, the more one needs to know—desiring, then, to fathom what one previously thought was fathomed.
Faith sees the Invisible Believes the Incredible Receives the Impossible
—SSSB Thus the pursuit of truth is a continuous and unending process. The incentive to strive for this truth is borne out of the desire to know and experience what one may believe to be an unending quest for knowledge. This truth of newfound awareness is manifested as knowledge—not scholastic or worldly knowledge, but infinite knowledge resulting in an understanding of a synergy beyond physical appearances. Many people believe the ability to grasp this awareness is completely out of one’s reach because it requires one to spend much time in study. Sooner or later, one discovers this knowledge lies in consciousness and is free to all. It is there for our edification, if so desired. It is our birthright to attain this awareness. It costs no money to draw on this energy of information because it is all contained within our consciousness. It requires only an understanding of the technique and practice...
